OKAY BUT HAHAHA

Lol, I had no idea what the hell was going on until I checked the comments—because, let’s be real, I was too busy enjoying the totally legal reading experience this site provides. And yeah, if the author actually plagiarized, that’s bad. But I can’t get over the poetic irony of people on this site—the digital black market of manga—grabbing their pitchforks like they’re the last defenders of artistic integrity. These stories literally pay authors’ bills, and yet here we all are, comfortably seated on our high horses inside the house of theft. Hahaha. If she copied, that’s on her. But the moral outrage coming from this crowd? Absolutely unhinged. Hahahahaha

So true, like who are we to hate those authors or say support when we don't even pay for their art? Like all this hate for what? I'm not saying it's alright to plagiarized but to say that here in illegal site is baffling. The hypocracy tho HAHAHAHAHA

I get where you’re coming from but some people just genuinely don’t have the funds to be paying for things like webcomics (among other things)

Oh, trust me, I get it—I mean, am I not riding the same morally questionable wave? But what’s truly hilarious about this whole fiasco is the sanctimonious outrage coming from people who have no issue disregarding these artists’ livelihoods… yet are now frothing at the mouth to crucify another artist for alleged plagiarism. The hypocrisy is doing Olympic-level gymnastics. It’s pure lunacy. Ahahaha

I mean that’s fair but directly buying the comic isn’t the only way to support the author, personally I buy merch and the physical copies bc for some reason my card doesn’t work for online purchases (except Patreon which is also odd) and I haven’t had time to go to the bank to fix it. On top of that, sharing it is also a way to help since it makes it reach more people including some that can actually pay for the comic directly

Also I do think plagiarism is so much worse. This person went through the trouble of copying someone else’s work AND got super popular as well. Both have happened to me and I have to say, the plagiarism was so much worse. People who read on illegal sites (us lol) might not pay for this content directly but there’s other ways for us to support the author (on top of the fact that some people just don’t have the funds lol) while plagiarism is a choice consciously made to copy someone else’s work and directly benefit from it.

Not that I’m trying to get the moral high lmao ground I’m deadass also reading shit illegally, at the end of the day that isn’t fully innocent either

I see both in the same light—reading someone’s work on an illegal site and plagiarism are both forms of theft, equally wrong on all fronts. Which is exactly why this whole outrage fest is so hilarious.

1.There’s no solid proof the author actually plagiarized this story.
2.The sheer irony of this outrage coming from people who aren’t exactly supporting the author either, considering they’ve been reading their work on this very illegal site.

And since we’re here, I’ve read the webtoon that was supposedly copied, and I still don’t see it. These tropes are so recycled they practically come pre-packaged, so where exactly is the plagiarism? If people are pointing at the colour scheme of the chapter covers, then that’s just embarrassing—because that style is so common, claiming ownership over it is a reach of astronomical proportions.

I’m guessing you didn’t read my comments bc buying the comic is not the only way you can support the author and they are NOT equally bad Jesus. Obviously reading this on an illegal website isn’t great but I’d love to hear your reasoning as to why you think they’re equally as bad.

Also the whole plagiarism thing is a thing this person does often so I don’t think assuming they plagiarised this too is reaching
