1. Yes, Hamil is infatuated with Aristine. It was sort of an interest at first as he wanted to 'see' this woman his brother and competition to the throne married. Honestly, he didn't seem like he had good intentions when he first approached her even in the book.
2. I can't say that if its one or the other as there were moments in the book where he was being an ass considering his standing as the queen's son and the one they wanted to lobby for as the next king. But he does a turnaround and I do end up rooting for his own happiness by the end of the book. He's a good guy at the core with the makings of a good ruler (cunning, knows when to be ruthless, and has a keen eye). Unfortunately for him, he was born to a family like his mother. Something happens near the end of the book that made me see that he was also a product of his circumstances and he tried to make up for his mother's sins.
3. NOPE, Aristine is not gonna be dense about it. Sure, she thinks he was teasing the first few times and she kept him company because he was her friend. But when she found out about his identity, she cut off any form of friendship with him as she could never be friends with her own husband's enemy and one whose family actively opposed and planned to get rid of her and Tarkan to pave his way as the next king.
4. Totally get what you mean by getting ewww vibes from him. I totally got that during jis first few appearances in the book and during some in the latter part BUT he gets a character development and I like how he turned around to try and make up for everything his mother and family had done. He even saves Aristine while she was pregnant and the queen sent assassins to get rid of her and the baby.
So there. You can hate Hamil during his earlier appearances because damn if he doesn't deserve it with what he will do,but ya know, he accidentally falls in love and yes, he gets a character development along the way.

As for the spoilers, I’m really glad he got character development instead of just staying an annoying pretty face. Now, I’m actually excited for the new updates! I was about to let it sit for a while—or maybe even drop it—if the things I was curious about turned out to be all negative. Thank you again! Because of you, I’ll stick with it till the end (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Someone please give me a spoiler about Hamir. Is he infatuated with FL? I meant is he has romantic feeling towards FL? And if yes, would he be a gentleman bout it or he just gonna be an ass like his mom? Like a lame ass loser? I just hope the FL not gonna be dense af about it.
Cuz honestly speaking, I don’t know why but he makes me go ewwww every time he’s appeared. Good looking but ewww (I don’t know how to describe it, I’m sorry).
