totally agree. She didn't think it through and jumped at the chance of hooking up with this much younger guy and strung him along. While she knows she has transmittable bacteria. If she were a guy, she'd be torn to shreds for her behaviour. As it is she expects far too much from her partners while being temperamental and vocally unkind nearly all the time.
The whole monologue just felt like she was explaining herself and justifying her reaction actually, (I do that sometimes and I feel like that's what happened), yeah she does seem like a douche here and I forgot about the bacteria part and is messed up , could have been ended things well cause they seem to have talked about quite a few things .

Its just so upsetting because theres a way to explore your sexuality and experience things with new people without needing to be toxic and harmful. Nora likes to act like a wise person and give “lessons” and anecdotes from what she’s been through. She likes to act open to things and thinks that shes liberal about her ideas, but then when someone more open or or expressive about their identity and values comes her way and challenges her preconceived notions about a group of people or a specific thing, sometimes she learns something new or approaches it horribly. I really think it probably has to do with living and growing up in korea, and absorbing their societal views because unfortunately you are a product of your environment. Literally have sex with whoever the fuck you want, as long as you’re protected, safe and its consensual. But remember that your actions reflect who you are as a person at the end of the day. It’s really sort of just showed me what nora really thinks of people and that shes deeply unsure of what she wants out of her partners/ that she acts like she knows more than she really does in an attempt to save face and dodge responsibility for some of the things she does because much of the problems she faces could be solved with just communication or proper confrontation (which is hard, i get it) but if you dont tell someone what they’re doing how tf are they supposed to know anywyas im probably being very presumptuous and reading into it way too much but yea
I understand the culture there is different and all but like… nora is low key being a creep and being not very great :( like she’s already sort of had some… questionable decisions but this just feels wrong (and this is coming from a woman who has casually hooked up before). I think she really shouldve just been honest with brody and communicated what was bothering her in a nice and honest way and from then on, yk what ever else happens will happen whether its good or not, at least she was true to herself.
