The og Agnes was in-love with Raymond since CHILDHOOD. Basically she was obsessed with him. The misunderstanding is that they all thought Agnes was just acting it all up that she's over him. So, being the brother that he is, he thought he was doing her bidding. He thought that he was being the "love bridge" as some might say. Her brother is so irritating a stupid. Like I truly do not understand why he refuses to respect her boundaries. And for all the stupid people who say “he thinks it’s what best for” that’s not a good enough reason.
