This is justifying it … using a traumatic past in order for a character to act like a dick is an easy way to give ground for this decision (of the author)- there will be no other reason given for chase except that he was abused in the past
yeah no. i ddnt say that its justifying him being a dick. i just said that it explains how hes like that. i never said its ok to do what he did and will never be. him being having that personality is annoying af thats it
