I know what you mean. I actually give the side eye to people who limit themselves by not trying new things, not only in manga genre but just anything in general. That’s why I don’t think I’d be able to get along with picky eaters because it just irks me.
Make sure to give them the middle finger too, bc peak is peak, doesn’t matter what kind of genre it is

Right?? I read literally everything that seems entertaining. I for sure have my preferences in tropes and genres (and tropes I avoid, like cheating and rape to love) and also in romance departments (I read BL more than straight stuff and GL or no-romance) but I found a lot of gems that are very different from each other that I wouldn't have found otherwise. Some people are probably missing out
I’m not gonna lie I do give the side eye to people who only limit themselves to one genre like you’re missing out on PEAK just because it’s straight or gay or because there’s no romance. I consume anything as long as there is no rape/SA. I was recommending my friend stepmother’s merchant and he didn’t want to read it because it wasn’t gay （￣へ￣）
