I knew this would happen. The FL will never put her feelings first, put up a barrier and got hurt in the end. I don't blame the ML at all (though he could've used different words). She kept going on and on about being his protector while he wanted something more than just friends. It would be bad if he kept using the FL and lying about his real intentions so he made it clear that he doesn't want to keep depending on her one sidedly. Now she feels lost and hurt becauve she can't "take care of him" anymore. As much as I feel bad for her, she needed someone to point out that she doesn't need to keep "taking care" of people to have any sort of relationship. She needs to learn that she can be taken care of too. I really hate that other guy tho. Even though he keeps saying that he won't interfere, he's weirdly nosy and keeps butting in with his opinions.
