My only hesitancy is is it talks about his mother and I remember the story I was trying to find his parents are very much alive and a very wealthy. So it’s also possible that his mother could be an adopted mother. I’m not sure I’ll have to double check.

Does anyone know the name or link of one specific BL Substitute story I am trying to find. Essentially the uke is being treated as a substitute by the ML and is humiliated by the ML's peers. One time he even meets his biological parents and brother who do not recognize him as they though he died or went missing when he was a baby. His parents and brother immensely miss him and have no idea the same guy who is being humiliated and mistreated is their son.
I would appreciate your help as it's been a while and I don't think I saved it which I really regret. I know there is a novel, but so far I haven't been able to find it in any specific list. I am putting it on any list similar to the theme so I can find it. Thanks.
