I think it depends how you see it. If you see Kyon as being sick/drugged, it may seem more mean. If you see the weakness as being more like bondage--Kyon feels, thinks, and enjoys, but can not move--then it is better?
When Kyon can't move and Lucaon say he knows and not to worry, it gives Kyon permission to just feel. Of course, Lucaon messes with Kyon (teasing about putting his whole hand in) but that's how Lucaon is--he doesn't actually do it. He asks if it feels good. He wants Kyon to like it. But it is definitely about Lucaon having all the power and control. Still, this is not about Kyon in pain. Kyon is teased and well fucked, but not really hurt or upset.
