It’s not any of BWAT’s works because they never have a creator’s note page for their works for an epilogue and I read through all of Fangs so it’s not that either// anything helps!!
It was in an epilogue that mentions a character from the main story passes a way later. The main character has a breakdown and their partner comforts them and ask if they regret being immortal and the main character says they don’t.
There is a part in the epilogue of the story where the author mentions that one of the main character’s friends passes away in an accident. I believe the Uke turns immortal by the end of the story and the deme consoles them. The friend passing is the first time the uke has second thoughts about being immortal.
