Orrrrrr maybe the author is immortal / a vampire. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Idk, i gave up trying to a figure out the author’s vision. I read this when i only have one digit in age, now i have two digits starting with 2.
I just hope they planned ahead n did what Oda did. Incase the author wont make it long, i wish they have the same ending as Solo Leveling’s author. Leaving a masterpiece for generations to appreciate.

Yeah, I had come to the same conclusion.
I've let it marinate throughout the years. This time back at chpt 299. Checking the comments periodically, it looks like not much has changed. Comparing this to another series that has a similar theme like "The One", which started around the same time and is completed, it was still a decent story even if it rushed some parts. But I am glad it didn't drag out for 23 years. I actually forgot she was still 17, which made it cringey that she still believes in the whole fairy thing (⊙…⊙ ) I just wished the author would utilize time skips more often or get assistant artists to take most of the load while she still continues to write the story, like in some series.

With you listing it out we can see the plot has so much potential.
I hate it but I agree with you, apart from the current Route project, I think most of the other questions will be left opened, vague answers at best. I have read a couple of her other works years ago but I don't think we will have a satisfying ending. Tokyo Crazy Paradise they never actually got together. Although Skip Beat looks better plot wise imo but with the pace we're going I don't think it's plausible to cover most of the stuffs.
I would love to see Kyouko's career develops, I want to see her interacts with a couple fans (surely she has some). I don't even care about her garbage mom anymore I don't think that plot is worth it anyway, I want to see her happy with new parents (Ren's).
I hope to be wrong though, the story is still fun for me to read from the start again, but it is super frustrating to follow new chapters since it feels like nothing ever happens for years...
I read this manga 10 years ago (2012), that time, this manga is already 10 years old and the chapter is at 180+ I think. I didn't read it after that. After 10 years, I read it again from chaptet 1 to 331.
In my honest opinion, aside from the author maintaining Kyouko's innocence or obliviousness towards love, the flow of the story is good, character development is also not too cliché. But, the romance part of it is still too sloooooowwww. I think if the author plans to end this manga, will be a rush.
Anyway, I do not think this will actually be finished. I think the manga will end into a halt and we will never know what happens to it. This is considering the speed of the story and the author's age. This is my practical assumption.
Besides, there's still a lot of angle to cover here:
1) Ren and Kyouko's relationship
2) Kyouko's dream of becoming top actress, will she be able to reach it before the end of this manga?
3) Is Uncle Tiger also interested on Kyouko as the diamond in the rough actress that she is?
4) Ren's past with Cedric
5) Ren's past with Rick and Tina
6) Ren and Koun's identity,
7) Ren finally meeting his parents
8) Kyouko meeting Ren's parents
9) Kyouko and Shotarou, what will their relationship be in the end?
10) Will Shotarou falls in love with Kyouko? Will he confess?
11) Kyouko and Sho Fuwa's parents, when are they going to meet? (she is the ideal daughter in law afterall)
12) Kyouko's relationship with her mother? What will happen afterwards?
13) Is his father never going to be mention again?
14) Kotonami's love relationship with Huuin (will the kid ever get taller than Kotonami?)
15) A glimpse of Yashiro's life (really am curious about him as well)
16) What happened to Amamiya?
17) Will Ren ever find out about Bo?
18) Will Kyouko ever graduate Love Me Section
19) Is Kyouko going to take part of that Route Project in US or any other project, Leo is interested on her aa well as an actress
20) Will Kyouko play a lead actress in a romantic series or film with someone else or Tsuruga Ren?
Ahh so many more to cover, and each probably will take 2-3 chapters.
So yeah, in conclusion, this manga will take a long time to complete OR it will never get completed.
