I don’t think it was the gloves but that speech awakened his passion for his want to be a giver rudo looked up to folloo. Think it was just a wake up call bc he had that potential.

also what the FUCK rudo is so much more and those gloves are so powerful. did he just. wake up the giver inside follo and power him up or something like he does to objects. is follo gonna crash out when this is over. did you see the objects disappear. that means he used his energy. WAIT. then did rudo possibly use the gloves to tranfer his energy to follo in that moment, which catalyzed the giver in follo.. saving his life..? or is this also a one time use situation I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS A GOOD THING OR A TERRIBLE THING...
