I think his heart is gonna break even more when he realize he isnt the only one who betrayed her. At some point she is gonna find out that swallow and the other boy are lying about who they are. She is gonna bottle it up and him trying to break the pact is gonna be the final straw. First the kitsune, then the new friend, then her closest, and the father figure will be the finale. Just my theory.
she is without a doubt growing on him. she is honest and leads with her heart. and as long as he takes care of her, she with show the loyalty he so values, on top of that, shes growing on him in general. i noticed that he also has thick brows, and in a way they share the same handsome beauty, ykwim?? anyways. he's not entirely keen to her yet, but that hug, and the reliance she has on him, he's not immune no matter how he seems.
they're gonna have that, "this is my daughter yuhua and if anything happened to her i'd kill everyone in this room."
oh, wait, he technically did that in the first episodes... he'll do it in a more fatherly way next time no doubt.
also im theorizing that a catalyst for them will be his attempts to break the blood pact and her finding out and genuinely feeling betrayed, and that'll align with how he's been treated and the betrayal he's faced and he'll have to come to terms with the fact that yuhua has, at times unwillingly, but always done her best to be a good deciple, and hasn't done any wrongs against him. he has a conscience that he'll never admit to, and he pities his daughter.
so regardless, and in the end, he wont leave her. i really like this story can you tell? lol
