Yeah an aphrodisiac that perpetually makes someone aroused, until they die, unless they have sex. Even then they would have an attack, aka heat. That's basically an omega. The author just used the same mechanics of an omega into a drug to insert in the plot. It's not an alternate universe. That's not what I am saying.

What I'm saying this plot device exists without being omegaverse. This plot device exists not because of omegaverse, it's its own thing, not an omega mechanic. If you're talking about heat inducer, that's an omegaverse version of aphrodisiac, not the other way around. By alternate universe I'm referring to omegaverse. Omegaverse/aboverse= alternate universe where abo exists.

If we're talking about domsubverse then you can say sub is basically an omega but being drugged with aphrodisiac is something that exists before omegaverse.
