cloak and dragger were confused as siblings only by marvel rivals players that knew mothing abt the characters to begin with mostly bc theyre 2 characters in 1 and racism played a part in it too, anyone that read the comics would thing anything BUT that bc theyre canon soulmates and didnt even know eachother when they were kids nor did the grow up together or live together?? (only met in highschool)

some of you forget all the context and believe living together since young = siblings. this is a gross misunderstanding and also downplays the upbringing they had. from the beginning, they were pitted against each other and never felt anything familial. both of them were completely separate beings from one another, and only lived in the same house. erwon was used as the golden scapegoat for the family. he was responsible for all of their child’s wrongdoings and had to be perfect on his own- never getting parental love. meanwhile og mc hated his guts and never saw him as anything other than competition for succession rights
how many times are we going to have this same easily dismissible conversation. growing up in the same environment and never bonding as a family would not make you siblings. they were literally strangers (enemies) in the same home
