Honestly I don't get where it's all coming from either? All we actually know is that Jinji was self harming A LOT when he got into prison and some of the tapes MC found were relating to that? All the tapes the uncle has have Jinji's prison number so it looks like they are prison tapes and not made outside of the prison? Jinji and Heonjae both did very violent work for the uncle so maybe it does have something to do with that, considering how MC sees Jinji as like... made of bloody entrails and is disgusted by him? MC knows Heonjae literally cut a man's leg off once, but still clings to him, so I mean... it must be much worse than that? Uncle is extremely suspicious though and it's obvious both brothers are really messed up from their upbringing.
