Also, in general, in my experience, it helps you feel better to accomplish things. So start by setting small goals for yourself. And celebrate even your small achievements. Some days just getting out of bed is a huge hurdle and it's ok to congratulate yourself for that small success even if it's something "everyone else can do without a problem"
Hope that makes some sense, depression is difficult, don't put yourself down for struggling. Eat some crackers, drink some juice, brush your teeth and keep going

Nah that’s not the case, us telling them this isn’t the right platform, is the only advice we can give.
What are the odds of finding someone here qualified to help? Close to none.
I would’ve given specific resources if I personally tried them, but I would never recommend things I’ve never used (e.g your friend had a trusted recommendation, therefore you shared it, thanks).
Redirecting them is the best we can do.
