I wouldn't call it an ending exactly. With these tapes he recovered the remnants of his "friend's" memories.

I've read it multiple times but im a little lost ╥﹏╥ So bada didn't replace any tape and just inserted their tapes( 3 of them)??? Bcoz doha is asking if bada will replace his tape. So why did bada triggered an ending
