He doesn’t see him as a person but as an accessory/property. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. He wants kids, but Wooju can’t give them to him, so rather than picking a priority and accepting realit, he’s trying to alter reality to make Wooju fit his desires. Additionally, Wooju has walked away from the relationship in the past when he has mistreated him, but if he was vulnerable to other alphas, marked by him, or they had a kid together (or more realistically, all 3) it would be nearly impossible for him to ever leave, regardless of any fights or issues they had. Despite his surface level “affection”, he really sees Wooju less as a person to get along with than an object to possess, which is why he’s fine with hurting him like this. It’s all worth it if he can make so no one but him can be his owner
