Look, I've read a lot of shit, and I mean A LOT; so, color me surprised when even I got the creeps. This was madly uncomfy?? However, I think it's due to how realistic the story was. This wasn't over exaggerated, which tends leave a feeling of unrealistic-ness. I feel like the author wanted to make this a realistic psychological story but abandoned it at the end. Actually, now that I think about it, from an abstract pov this is done well?? In the beginning we are greeted with a tense atmosphere that gets more twisted as the Mc's own feeling twist and get gloomy. The atmosphere of the manga changes as the Mc's own feelings changes. The teachers aid gives him tranquility and that carries into the atmosphere. The Mc falling in love (I'm pretty sure it's something slightly more twisted almost like Stockholm syndrome), lighten ups the story. The feelings that the story gives off to the readers always reflect the feelings of the Mc.
We can honestly tell that the author knew the relationship was unhealthy due to the accurate inner monologue and facial expressions. Or maybe I'm reading way too far into this, and the author is just romanticizing this type of relationship.( ̄∇ ̄")
