Let me be devil's advocate. Don't get me wrong. Blondie is so annoying I wish she'd just chuck him off the edge of the building... coz y'know SHE COULD.
Anyway, police officer here being all irritating but as much as MC's logic of being a bored heiress comes to play, you could honestly reason out she could be a bored heiress who experimented on people and when shit hit the fan, she armed herself to survive the backlash. Coz if anybody could afford to be a shady human trafficker, it would be her wouldn't it? Much like nobody else could be Batman but Bruce Wayne kinda logic.
So let's all take a breath and be one with MC and just imagine him getting beat to a pulp.
