i have mixed feelings

Yeah and no one apologized to the ML as well as he was made into a weapon. No one loved him. He was prodded and poked, left to die only to come back etc. Other espers were also treated the same. They ended up killing their loved ones without therapy or something. They were not provided with proper system for guides so both guides and espers are cared for.

I am not excusing anything. My point is that everyone was a victim, not just the MC. Everyone suffered.

Unfortunately in those times if extreme chaos everything was fucked up. Consent definitely left the room.. wait the world. Love? Care? Kindness? Totally disappeared... I don't think our MC will ever recover or ML will ever be forgiven...

i sure hope mc doesn’t forgive him but uh, the latest chapter unfortunately says otherwise (expected tbh but still disappointing)

I don't think they actually have control on it, unless the system regularly gave them proper guiding. That's the thing about guides, they were always the collateral damage for the side effects of making espers as weapons, not soldiers, just weapons.

But the thing with omega verse is that alphas are not trying to save the world. Even more so, they are at the top of the pyramid, getting all the talents and praises, sure to succeed in life, and gets away in mistreating omegas. Depending on the author, omega verse can be so unfair between genders. As for espers/guides, espers are at risk to themselves and others if not receiving guidance. It's harsh but I see somewhat of check and balance unlike in omegaverse
