Sooo from what I am understanding this chapter is explaining their second meeting after Ryeong already got his erased memories of his human life to become and ascendent a became blind and having a seal on his memory being placed over his eyes. And once he officially becomes ascended he will have to go through another memory sweep and having to forget meeting Jae again and the works he has done!! In which I think the 3rd meeting will be when he was accused of killing his master and having to flee and meet Jae again after he becames just nothing but hair and he helps take care of him is what we know from the timeline that we are following to see all their past history backstory I think, I am not sure if the time they have meet was to be considered when Jae went into his memories will mix into being that fourth time they meet. Im still figuring it out. I haven’t done my full re read yet but hopefully this is correct from my understanding lol
