Lmao probably, but still... At this point it would've been more realistic something like: the father is about to get hit by a truck, Shishikura risks his life to save him, he ends up in ICU, the father accepts him, happy end
yup it needed something more dramatic and at least a near death experience for that abrupt change lol
Oh dang I'm very happy for them and that the angst is over but it feels surreal the way everything's been resolved, like the father suddenly changed a mindset he's had for 40 years and which has always been the cause of the eternal conflict between him and his child with a 2 mins chat
