the reviews being good r probably from when this was only 1 volume. i promise the story seemed better back then in a 1 volume vacuum . volume 2 lowkey just ruined a lot of things and made everyone mad
Okay that made a lot of sense. I think I’m also a bit biased since I like stories where the top falls first and chases after the bottom more. It was meh to me, but volume 2 ruined it. But that’s probably again cause of my bias for certain plot lines
Read it because the omega didn’t look loverly feminized and the reviews were really good but it’s just kinda meh? The chemistry wasn’t that good honestly, like I don’t even know how they fell in love with each other. Then the father of the alpha showed up and ughhhhh, made me want to punch him. Hate how they tried to jam a redeeming thing about him that doesn’t even really redeem his character. Also they’re behaving like you can’t get a divorce after marriage like the fuck? Yes it’s a promise for anytime but divorce is still a thing. You don’t want to go into a marriage with divorce in mind, of course, but it’s still an option in case things go sour.
