I'm with JJ on this one. If Leo had a high enough fever he passed out, the dude needs to rest and a car ride isn't going to improve his situation. Both of them aren't going to have the romantic proposal they envisioned now that JJ knows (and hopefully understands is boy is extra) and Leo knows he knows. Leo might not know JJ also has a ring and they were on the same wavelength but he might still cry as he begs him to stay put so they can have forever together, in sickness and in health.
Ah, my brain keeps envisioning this emotionally charged event with super sappy lines to become the romantic proposal they need, not the one either of them wanted.
