I enjoy this manga, it’s cute and relaxing way to pass time. Not a revolutionary story, so it was quite surprising to see super nicely rendered fan animation in my twitter feed. I clicked on the fanart tag and behold, there’s an impressive number of high quality fanart and fan animation of this manga. That’s awesome, but I was a little confused why the fanarts were majorly of Hikaru and his bestie Kuroi, who doesn’t appear in the manga much compared to the gyaru pair.
And then I found out. This manga is an adaptation of a YouTube animation channel and the main cast are all voiced!! And then I saw THAT music video and the most recent video compilation!!!! (Unrelated, but Hikaru’s voice actor is a really good singer)
Needless to say, I understand the vision and the YouTube comments that analyze Kuroi’s character makes me start to also love said vision. Then it made me think about the manga itself with that zombie apocalypse chapter, sun and moon, calm vs energetic, the popular one being more attached then the introverted one.. And going back to the MV, the hidden “Because I only have you. Thank you for always being with me.”?? What. The two wolves in my head howl in desperation. I comment in hopes that one person will also brainrot this vision with me.
