FORGOT TO SPOILER CHECK . . . . . . . . . why didn't it show us all the abuse iljo was going through at the hands of his family???? all we knew was happy-go-lovey jeonghan ecstatic bc he became iljo's boyfriend but during that short time he was assaulted and raped by his cousins, prostrated on his knees by his uncle who threw a vase at him, and who knows what else!!! they just tell us through his doctor after the fact then have iljo run away without explaining a thing to us. I was as baffled as jeonghan. why would you write a story that way?? it's sloppy and confusing. makes me wonder if the novel did it that way too but I can't even find it anywhere to go see for myself.
