I have fun believing the fact that this world is set in a place where some of these "supporting" characters (students) seem like the typical stereotyped-main character for academy based stories. For example, a kid who seems to be so ordinary and talentless but somehow posseses the righteousness and charisma to attract different kinds of people who admires that trait of his and has this hidden power of overcoming each difficulty coming his way through effort and practice. Then there's this other talented/quick-learner kid who has like "unique" physical characteristics but come from a common background who posseses a rare magical attribute that's information on it might have long been lost.

You get my point. So many stories where characters like these are chosen to be the OP main character, but out of those with chosen properties, we get this guy who's like ridiculously superbly overpowered with wits and crazy looking ass powers acting out a role (professor of an academy) usually given to supporting characters of the main characters mentioned above. It's crazy how this guy just handles through so many different types of misunderstandings and circumstances while still being real and complex as a character.

THAT'S SO FREAKING HOT.
