I read the story from the very beginning again and my hate for Seju got renewed. How can anyone pity that disgusting bitch? What I forgot will now be sticking in my mind while I read the new chapters. She hardcore abused Sumin emotionally, manipulated her, even then when Sumin went through the most painful time of her life (Ch11). God, I hate her so much (but not as much as I hate the scum-of-earth-bitch who raped and abused Sumin).
And yet Sumin is helping her. Sumin has such a big heart that she still cares about Seju.
Sumin found happiness with Sung-Ji, with whom´s love she could finally free herself from a toxic relationship. She is FINALLY happy, lively, and has bright eyes, unlike the way she was before she started to be with Sung-Ji - remember? Just look again at her once groundless lonely and empty eyes, expressions, gaze and even her dead-walk; the work on these topics is the best I ever had to experience.
And look at her now, she is happy, she doesn´t look like a ghostless shell in pain anymore.
Remember when Seju in chapter 27 said; "No matter how much time it takes, she will be mine again." because, "She was tired of a love she can´t give or receive."
But fuck you, Seju, because now, Sumin gives that love and receives that love.
She is fictional, but at the same time, she is more than that. She is alive. She represents so many people, who have shattered hearts, no hope, with a neverending loneliness, and only pain, people who have the softest and most innocent hearts, like Sumin. The sad thing is, many of these broken people never find a Sung-Ji. They stay broken.
This is why I´m so fucking happy for Sumin. Everyone always left her, gave up on her, but Sung-Ji is really in love with her and seems like she will never leave Sumin and be left by her (unless she kills the love Sumin has for her by being a monster like Seju (Chapter 11), but this will never happen).They are soulmates.
