Honestly, my english skills ain't that worse considering we've been on it for quite a long hours..
It is not me who is obsessed rather it is the viewers and authors that are sickly obsessed with a goddamn chaste single father / or an ex-villainous father with a tragic background and mother being killed off..
Do you think it is normal??
I have no issue with adopted child or whatever.
However the theme aka the plot is over an used one..
What does a healthy family got to do with a father being pure virgin or single??
I have come across comments on multiple such father-daughter manhwa saying that "oh! Uf the father got a wife I am gonna drop it " .. what the heck does it mean anyway??
I have got no animosity or whatsoever against that kid but hey, it is not like Joo-rim getting his personal life will probably adversely affect her rather it will be a good thing..
But, the author and fans promotes the idea that a father must be single and weirdly obsessed with its child..
What the hell?

Ban man?? Is that what you got ??
Honestly, now I understand the Korean viewers better...
It is not Joo-rim's decision rather the author's and fans promoting the idea that a father must be single pure chaste and sickly obsessed..
Why can't he have a personal life??
If sexist remarks are what you got them please avoid debates..

Are you Chinese? Sorry, I don't think my country is china where yaoi and bl authors get jailed and people gets killed for expressing their views...
In multiple manhwas, there are thousands of negative reviews .. even in the good manhwas... Yet, I don't see anyone getting so irked....
Why is it that my views are wrong while yours GAVE TO BE CORRECT??
And, what the hell would I gain from attracting your eyes?? Money? Gold bars? A sense of accomplishment??
Are you crazy? You shouldn't be so narcissistic..
I just express my views and that's it .

Hey, I get it. I'm not trying to be mean, but your comment might have rubbed some people the wrong way. These fans really love this manhwa, and your words might have felt like a bit of a slap in the face to both the author and the readers. Maybe try rewording things to be a little softer? You know, like, "Hey, I've got some thoughts on this..." instead of directly criticizing. Just a thought! (=・ω・=)

Look, I'm not saying I'm right, but honestly, your comment felt a bit like an attack on the author and other readers. It's fine to disagree, we all do! But the way you put it across might be why people are upset. Maybe try rephrasing it to be a little kinder? Think about how you'd feel if someone talked to you that way.

Are you in the right headspace right now?? Tf you mean by “Joo-rim’s decision rather the author’s” the author is the AUTHOR. The AUTHOR’S decision IS Jo-rim’s decision. If you want a story where a guy gets with a woman and yadayada theres THOUSANDS of that. God forbid a story be a found family genre where the man doesn’t get with a woman. It’s FOUND FAMILY. Where in the story does it say that he HAD to be “pure” and “chaste” and never be in a relationship? People don’t care if he gets into a relationship, and people don’t care if he doesn’t get into a relationship. The story doesn’t even revolve around his life, it revolves around the MC, the kindergartener. Again, literally NO ONE CARES if he gets into a relationship or not, and you’re the only one that is malding over this. You’re spending hours and WEEKS of your life being a hater in one of the most wholesome manhwas I’ve ever seen just because it doesn’t fulfill the relationship expectation you have on a character that isn’t even the MC??

U mean, a girl cannot become a family??? What are you on?? Are those manhwas wrong??? Ain't they all about a family ? A home?? What are you yapping about??
Are you telling me that a girl cannot be a family coz she is supposed to warn the bed and that's it?? C'mon your views are more offensive..
And , yes many viewers have often criticised the authors about the ml getting in a relationship especially in Childcare genre..
Do you know why? It is PRETTY similar to those Kpop stan syndrome ....
And, about Joo being traumatized? I'm sorry but isn't it pretty much the basic plot that can be found in all manhwas regardless the genre.
.Sorry to tell you but the Author basically wants only MC's life to be the full of rainbows meanwhile others worshipping her and that's not how it goes in all manhwas and that's why author's decision for Joo-rim's ending is disastrous and unfair..
Also, b'coz in childcare genre this subplot of a ever-chaste, self-sacrificing, devoted and doting yet a tragic father is kind of very boring and unfair ..
It is just like copying the same content over and over for the same genre..
How is it fine?? Tell me??
Had there been only the mother who died while giving birth to MC the comment section would have blown up mocking and sarcastically pointing out that specific sub-plot aka dead mother...
But, now it is silent coz she got adopted by a strong celibate pure guy .
Do you get how overused this plot is??

After reading everything from what everyone’s said I feel you aren’t actually reading the replies to you. Also who said he was a pure and chaste virgin that’s no where in the story. Sure he’s single but who cares fr if he gets a girl or not no one cares your basing that point of yours strictly from Koreans (that we don’t know actually exist or not cause I haven’t seen Koreans say that about this comic or others) and not on any of the comments saying otherwise. Who’s to say they weren’t joking? It’s a drawing. 2D. No one actually cares but you’re making it out to be that the dad needs his own life when the story based on CORRECT tagging, not mangago tagging, is about a 4 year old finding family. I’m really lost on how you put this much hate under this manwha as he hasn’t shown obsessive gross tendencies to Gruu at all there are some like that but you’re not commenting under those manwhas just this one.

Huh?? Okay first of all, define what “found family “ is, because clearly it seems like you don’t even understand what we’re talking about here. When did I ever say a girl can’t be a family?? Literally go on and quote me saying any of that. This manhwa is about the MC and her found family. My views aren’t offensive, it’s just that you have absolutely NO idea wtf I’m even saying. You’re in your own little world fighting imaginary battles and arguments.

""Mc found her family"" .. So, MC's family supposed to have a single pure father who sees nothing besides her..
That's exactly what this genre has become sadly...
It's about "found family" yet I don't seem to find a single ""complete family where there exists both father and mother....a complete one""..
There's a manga where the MC and her family are assassins and she's also an overpowered MC..
The family is super cute and the manhwa has everything..
The MC is both cute and powerful...
I forgot most of the plot but if I remember correctly it is ""anyaxfamily""
And, remind you the Tags don't forget it ..
A family with no other thing than overpowered MC playing cute and a pure tragic hero/villain father that is obsessed over her..
Can't the childcare genre authors make something different?? Why does every child are manhwa follow the same HARCORE TRAGIC PATH...
My point remains valid childcare genre/ found family genre whatever you call it has become cringe with the same exhausting and overused tragic yada-yada sub-plot.....
Also, how can a family not have romance btwn the father and the mother??
Is it a crime for the parents to be involved in romance?
"Manhwa is about MC then it should be only about MC"- This is the summary of your previous comment.
However you are being very childish .. you do know that many manhwas also do posses the side characters story and their personality progress... There are many side couples besides Ml and Fl in manhwas..
So, it should not be that surprising here either...
Yk you're behaving the exact same way the crazy kpop stans do..
Surely, the MC wouldn't mind her father being investing his attention to somewhere else for a female moments....

Ripped straight from google : “No, a "found family" does not have to be a full family in the traditional sense; it refers to a group of people, not necessarily related by blood, who choose to support and care for each other like a family, which can include a close-knit group of friends or even a single, significant mentor figure”
In short, you didn’t even search up what found family genre is and you’ve been pulling shit out your ass this entire time. Sit down and quiet down bruh you arguing just to argue and you ain’t even know what the topic and convo is actually about
Oh, so we’re just out here pretending that fathers in childcare manhwa don’t deserve happiness now? Writers are so obsessed with making the ML and FL get their perfect fairy-tale ending while the father—who literally raised the MC, sacrificed everything, and probably suffered the most—just sits there like a background prop, smiling through his pain. What kind of lazy storytelling is this?
These authors act like once a man becomes a father, his personal life is over. He gets to live vicariously through his daughter’s happiness while he rots away alone. Why? Because God forbid a man over 30 finds love in these stories, right? The double standards are ridiculous. If the father has any romantic subplot, it’s either killed off, ignored, or turned into a tragic backstory. Meanwhile, the ML and FL get the cheesiest, most drawn-out romance arcs known to man.
And let’s be real—some of these fathers are way more interesting than the so-called "perfect MLs" who just exist to be handsome and rich. But no, the genre thrives on turning them into selfless, suffering saints who don’t even get a sliver of happiness for themselves. Just watching their kid be happy is supposed to be enough? What a joke.
So yeah, next time an author thinks of writing yet another father who raises the MC like a single dad champion, at least have the decency to give him a love story too. He’s not just a side character in his own damn life.
And, those who downvoted me earlier you guys are no less than those creepy Kpop fans who were their shorts listening that their idols got into a real relationship..
