Hating on chapter 52

On chapter 52 right now and it pissed me off so badly that the mc just willingly let herself be taken to jail, like that's such a plain and pathetic thing to let it happen to yourself. She's on her freaking 29th reincarnation you'd think after the amount of power and intelligence she has accumulated that she'd be smarter in how she would handle antagonists. Like I get it supposed to lead into another plot arc but I hate how authors give the mc such a good and badass background to then reduce them to being dumber in their new life. But I do like the story and I'm interested in seeing where it goes further, I just hope the mc improves on how she handles antagonists further down the plot.
