yeah cus there are gonna be stories with similiarities especially nowadays when every trope has been repeated and as you said romance in particular has loads of cliches so some similiarities are unavoidable
theyre not just similarities they’re panel by panel copies the only difference really is the slight angle towards the right and the artstyle
I can see how the scenes being copied are bad, but I haven’t read the BL story, so is the plot the same as well? (Though I’ve seen several childhood friend turns into fwb stories, so I mean like is the plot the same in which the events are chronologically in order the exact same way as the BL?)
I also don’t see the artstyle being copied. I can see a similarity but, not the art style being copied. This story’s art is pretty different. And also it’s super common for artists to be inspired by other art styles. (Like wmmap, any basic main stream modern manhwa style). Like the artist of a stepmother’s marchen and the author of secret lady, people know the art is pretty similar but don’t care cause they know the other artist is friends/learned in the same studio. Having similar art is not a bad thing since there’s so many art styles that are super similar, as long as it’s not tracing over someone else’s art.

Oh my gosh finally someone with some common sense !!!! I literally sed the same thing about the transmigration stories and sex positions so many and I mean so many manhwa use the same sex positions in the same angles r they and tropes n cliches n plot lines ! This accusation can honestly be applied to every author now which is a dangerous precedent...eunhi is trying to defend herself on twitter but ppl refuse to listen to reason its sad.
If you actually read the chapter (chaoter 11) where the cherry picked the out of context panels for comparison they're nothing alike.....if you were to read both chapters and write a detailed description of what's going on in each scene you would not have the same descriptions and outcomes I guarantee tht .........u can cherry pick scenes from and other manhwa n find some similarities it's a heavy reach the story. Overall Plot, character personalities, development etc are nothing alike and the covers have no similarities outside of some of them having similar monocolor schemes?? Again If u had to give a detailed description of them you would NOT come out with the same descriptions...... half of their proof have completely different actions occurring but they're still saying it's plagiarism also You can't own a color scheme and even then they don't use the same colors....the composition, posing, etc are all so jarringly different... the entire thing is a REACH and it's baffling how no one has taken the time to examine these half assed accusations and "proof" with a critical lens...like they look nothing alike ?? ppl are so quick to jump on the bandwagon and majority of them haven't even read CFC n they're just review bombing it and calling it a stupid hetero romance as an insult ?? Mob mentality really is dangerous n it's gotten to the point where I actually feel bad for eunhi.. these are serious accusations tht can ruin this person's livelihood and career so I completely understand why she would have block tirano and threaten malicious commenters with a lawsuit..... The biggest piece of "proof" they have are the chapter covers and again they all look nothing alike if you were to sit down and describe each image separately after looking at them with no context you would not come out with the same descriptions...again outside of some of the arts having monocolor themes I'm not seeing the similarities. One of the covers one lead from each series is wearing a hoodie and Thts about where the similarities start n end, they have different poses, color schemes,
And different hoodies n yet it was enough for ppl to say it's plagiarism. It's getting out of hand. It feels as though ppl just saw a picsart chart comparison and automatically let their brains be tricked into seeing similarities tht either aren't there or r minuscule.

I get why ppl are mad but it is pretty funny that people are upset over the accused plagiarism while we’re all here reading on an illegal site that doesn’t support either authors lmaooo. So it’s kinda funny seeing people fight for morals.

On another note- hope this doesn’t end like ‘Can I take it back,’ where the whole story disappeared off the internet. The best scenario is this author not actually have plagiarized. I can only hope that there’s only similarities due to inspiration- which several stories have done for decades. (Which is why so many sex scenes and romance cliches are nearly all the same and predictable in millions of stories, ppl take what they know from those who did it before them). Like imagine if people get copyright for having a sex position in a story, that another author did before them- that’d be wild LOL. OR imagine the amount of cancellations if they claimed plagiarism with transmigration historical romance stories, omfg that would have to be a whole list of hundreds of manga and manhwa having the same plot being “copied.”
If that’s a fail, then I’d still wanna look at the art for this story every now and then.
