Before that, at one time he thought the MC died and went crazy but then the empress finally told him the truth that he is still alive and had faked his death by drugging him and hiding him…I think. Lol it’s been awhile! He did get sick way before that and was taken back to his sick mother, where she eventually died. It was pretty eventful! (￣∇￣")
