Yeah, I feel like this story is going on and on about politics and maid stuff when we all came here for romance. The author is setting up the story but it’s just the boring stuff we skip….

No, it's not! It's not better dying and being a maid isn't the end of the world. It's ok if you don't find joy in this story, but she's genuinely feeling sincerity for the first time.

That's not the being maid part that is the problem

She is not a maid she is a slave. Maybe she is quite happy but it's because she is resilient. She always ended up with the short end of the stick she worked hard every day and now the work of a maid is maybe a little more physical but way less straining on her.

But everyone treat her like a slave and disrespect her because they are glad to have a punching bag. Like what's better than ex noble that is now a slave without power or anything.

I get it, but to her, it's probably really better. When she was a noble, she didn't get to enjoy herself that much. Like when she was with her father, it's either study or getting child abuse. With her husband, it's work that no one appreciated. In high society, it's all pretense and fakeness (probably except when she was with that best friend.)

As a maid/slave, she may have no rights, but technically it's not different from when she was a noble since she has no assets or power to make any decisions. But rn, she doesn't need to work or study hard. No one has any expectations for her. She met more good people than when she was a noble.

I want things to get better for her and she's for so much potential, but I think things are finally better than whatever happened before.

She is a woman without human rights she is the cible of desire and disgust and contempt of many

She is not in a secured position. Even her "master" see her as less than. Nobody ever asked her anything. When she was a noble and now being a slave.
