Question

I remember hating Chunwoo but I don’t after reading side stories, I don’t even feel angry? Probably cause I matured and could see why he messed up, doesn’t justify cheating but I can see why he ended that way. Like I can see he resorted to sexually assaulting his ex fuck buddy because that’s all they’ve done to solve or argue problems.
QUESTIONS;
1. Anyone know why he cheated again? How long was he dating Ho-in for?

2. What chapter was the last time Chunwoo and red head had sex? Before the cheating part in ch 78.

3. Does Chunwoo truly love Ho-in? I feel like he didnt fully move on from red head. But author’s writing is wow and makes me believe he does love Ho-in now: in Epilogue 1, Chunwoo was feeling guilty AS HE SHOULD (but maybe not this detrimentally) and these words made me feel connected: “Somehow, seeing that obsession and madness in Ho-in’s eyes put his heart at ease.”

And the part where he realised Ho-in possibly being gone would be extremely painful. Love it! Development.

4. I love this part, the cheating part at end where Chunwoo thought: I don’t feel anything in your arms anymore. DEEP words. He’s waited so long for the one he used to love that he’s tired. Love that he ran to Ho-in, as you should! Get real love.

5. Does Chunwoo clarify to Ho-in that he doesn’t love Taesoo anymore? That he didn’t feel anything with Taesoo in his arms? I’m so sad with how Ho-in said, he knew it would happen (cheating) and that Chunwoo would be tempted (Epilogue 3; or ch 83).

Same here. I was mad too but

    1. Technically he wasnt cheating bc they werent together yet, they were in the "talking" stage / choosing stage and he was thorned btwn the both (i do know that thr are ppl irl tht dont consider smth like tht as cheating ie dm-ing multiple ppl on tinder bc they are still in falking choosing state yada yada)

(also he wasnt dating the red head, they were in this strange situationship that red head didnt want to pursue)

So he was in this weird limbo :/

    2. I cnt rmb sorry :(

    3. Im pretty sure the side stories are focused for chunwoo's redemption and and how hes dedicated to give his entire being to ho-in all while falling so deeply in love w ho-in in the process. He still has a lot of guilt but ho-in is too much of a sweetheart to hold tht against him and is just really happy he choose him in the end (also bc they werent really dating so i think tht kindda held ho-in back bc chunwoo technically wasnt his yet :/)

    Hope this helps!

Ps i think the author found a loop hole to writing a "cheating" story such that i actually doesnt end up hating tht guy as much. Author nim really beat him up w the qns we hav abt whether hes remorseful or guilty and doesnt really condone those actions. Chunwoo got a happy ending but he worked hard for it, for ho-in's trust and love.

    1. No it is cheating, they made it official a few chapters back, from what I recall. If I’m wrong, still icky considering he knew Ho-in was waiting and loves him. Especially since they didn’t confess or was like: let’s date now, after the cheating part.

Honestly, with how Ho-in is, Chunwoo wouldn’t have to work too hard to get it. It’s a sad situation but it went well than I expected.

Anyways I just want Woojin’s story now. And I also love the sexy smut with Chunwoo and Ho-in in side stories.

Edit: Honestly even the cheating part wasn’t as bad cause he didn’t do it for sex or pleasure, that’s the difference. And I might’ve been wrong about the dating part, but still, chunwoo is so trash for telling Ho-in to stay, and Ho-in waited, then did that crap. But he developed in side stories, which was meant to be and I love every of it.

I’m glad he didn’t hurt himself out of guilt. Glad he could find someone that actually loves him and won’t keep him waiting like red head did. Well, both red head and chunwoo kept each other waiting…realistic.

Yeah totally agree w u, it is shitty and i myself too would consider it not fair and cheating but ive heard ppl argue it not cos they werent dating yet (again w the multiple tinder dms example, since i myself also find it morally questionable and wrong)

Apart from tht i think uve put my thots into words and i couldnt hve described his development any btr. I love the story in a sense tht it doesnt shy away from mking the mc look like a total douche and situation so nuace its almost realistic, but outcome only works wen a couple really forgive and grow and doesnt hold it against esch other which is not all too common irl. ╥﹏╥
