even if it were true- I’m gonna take a wild guess here and say the same people who said that are also BL readers, a genre famously known for being written for women by women which is no better than if GL were made for men by men (even tho isn’t). Like they have NO room to talk in the first place.

I hate it when people spread misinformation about GL like saying yuri is written by men for men. What have you been reading? A quick Google search and it will disprove that. 90% of GL is written by women for women GL history is different from BL just because BL is written by women for women doesn’t mean GL is the same. I’ve read 100 GL’s. I have yet to find one written by a man not even citrus, even though it’s awful it’s literally written by a lesbian and her fan base is women.
