I’ve finally decided to read this after years and years of people recommending it as one of the best chasing/redemption arcs AND let me tell you it did not disappoint!!!! The truth is I’ve tried reading it in the past but for whatever reason I couldn’t get past the first few chapters. I think getting rejected/unrequited love has always been hard for me to read— maybe because it’s putting salt on old wounds for me BUT YEAH when tropes are a little too real/relatable… anyways but tbh it wasn’t that painful to read BUT let me tell you my heart actually broke into pieces when jun got rejected the second time when he was crying like oh my god. Him putting on a strong unbothered face when deep down he was so hurt hits a little too close to home… however yoonseul’s chasing was soso good because it was sincere. Honestly yoonseul never had bad intentions, he was genuinely unaware of his feelings. The snow scene was just chefs kiss bro, like waiting 4+ hours in the freezing snow just showed yoonseuls dedication to getting jun back ESPECIALLY what hurts him the most is how he thought jun left without saying goodbye UGH so beautiful. ALSO CAN WE TALK ABOUT how there’s no smut in the beginning thats actually crazy for BL. The fact that yoonseul was wondering what was the right time to have sex is actually never heard of in BL because usually in bl they always fucked before they even get into a relationship together…lmaooo AND BRO LET ME TELL YOU their first time was soso good I think the fact that we had to wait for it just made it 10000 times better. This story is so adorable, soso funny and sprinkles of angst. Fucking incredible. Definitely is going to be one of my favorites of all time. (▰˘◡˘▰) have a great day and happy reading!
