Well, she loved him and experienced so much emotional growth in that span of thinking he was going to kill her to the point someone was going to harm him. Love is a powerful force, but it appears she's brainwashed again after breaking free. Shame, she wanted power to protect him even if instincts wanted to eat him. ;-; and from how the phrasing was, I don't think she'll be saved when they meet again.
