EXACTLY. i feel like some people skim over the chapters but it's so interesting to go back and really take in how they react because its details are pretty delicate. in all honesty, he never pegged me the type to be extremely loud in such a scenario anyways? hes cunning, and sly, plus his obsession and love to her is extremely calculated in a quiet way - so i found this to be an accurate portrayal of his usual character. its so much... more intimate imo...

idk why people say hes not reacting, his face has always been usually blank/cold - you gotta take a closer look at his body language, the subtlety of his love and passion really seeps through.
his whole body being completely red and flushed is SO FUCKING good. i love this detail, plus whenever he grabs her - his arm veins are clearly drawn to show the tightness of his grip (and his possessiveness).
its so hawt when you look closely, especially when she thinks "but this... isnt something I can't prepare for" and the subtle tongue that peeks out from his mouth??? LORD. he is gonna eat her UP. HE EVEN PRESSES ON HER BELLY WHILE HES IN HER BYEEEEEEEEEEE. tbh I even find his "dazed" look to be so hazy with lust. this chapter was a 10/10 easily.
