I think it was mainly ml's complete 180 when he cast out mc as soon as mc was labeled a prophet without hearing out what he had to say (or what he was permitted to say within the confines of the curse, rather) and his lack of emotional intelligence throughout that caused the most frustration.
ML was seen as a green flag prior to his sudden and unexpected personality shift, so his betrayal was jarring in a way that cut relatively deeper than a betrayal from a story with a straight up red-flag ML.

ngl the top from jinx is infamous for how much people dislike him so i feel like that’s just not true, but everybody’s just disappointed cus not only did that come from no where, kind of disrupt the flow of the story & butcher the ml’s character, but it wasn’t even satisfyingly handled in the end n it was glossed over

I still think his reason for getting angry and kicking out his spouse after said spouse was unconscious was too dumb to be real. And then he backtracked SO QUICKLY without any emotional resolution when Eugene actually left; like it made no sense. I would rather a consistently toxic asshole, or a totally nice guy; and not this confused in-between wishy washyness.
i feel like everybody dislikes alexis but me T_T am i the only one who still likes him??
