It seems that Eunhan got fucked over mentally and emotionally as a kid, by his parents, relatives, and uncle.
Just to make it clear, this DOES NOT excuse any of the suffering he gave to our bb Han-Gyul.
Eunhan was never taken seriously by his parents, they don't truly see this kid as, you know, a kid that needs guidance on how to deal with his emotions and BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTIONS. "Oh your toy's broken? K buy a new one." "Oh you're interested in something? You'll eventually lose intetest soon anyway after I give it to you."
And when it comes to his uncle, he essentially convinced/brainwash Eunhan that Eunhan is a person that'll lose interest immediately for EVERY SINGLE THING, his own feelings is just temporarily and that it doesn't matter anyway in the end (refer to the chapter where after they sealed the spirit of salvation). Yeah the uncle was a kid at that time and kid does dumb shet, yet he doesn't really grow out of it even as an adult now, he kept repeating the same words to Eunhan that it's just temporarily and never truly take into account Eunhan's thoughts + intense feelings on the matter. Kinda manipulative ngl.
So Eunhan had been treating it as such, and cope by seeking out people that are similar to HanGyul while denying his own feelings (of admiration and liking) towards him since he's a child, constantly believing that these feelings will all be over once he'd played with HanGyul a few times, never realizing that it's slowly developing to love.
This dude had always like HanGyul (refer to earlier chapters) where he would blush secretly after HanGyul did something or said something that rattled his perception of humans. And I think he truly had fallen in love the moment when HanGyul confesses his feelings in the hospital. But coward got scared of whatever he's catching and wanted to run away/be in denial of it.
Still, Han-Gyul have no reason to put up with Eunhan's nonsense. But I understand that he love that fecker, and the feelings of the heart is not easily controlled or be rationalized. So I can only hope Eunhan FUCKING CHANGE TO BE BETTER COZ WTF BOI U A RED FOREST OF FLAGS. Man this is giving ptsd to my past relationship ugh.
