Based on my understanding (lmao) and in this season, it was claimed that Jintae is dead and we kept seeing him because this season was kind of focusing on MC's life. And I felt like the MC is a "good" person, like, for example, he actually wanted to help people and wanted to end the "cult" thingy. Though, he could still be considered a "bad" guy because he "killed" people(?). And about why all the ML are look alike, I have no answer for that
