Tae is walking around and they end up meeting up at the beach. Then Ilay and Gable show up. There’s a slight confrontation. Xinlu points a gun at Ilay, Gable shoots at Xinlu to disarm him and the ricochet of the gun seems to have injured his wrist. Tae walked up to him and realizes there’s a sniper hiding in some bushes so he places Ilay between himself and Xinlu (lol).
Later they meet up again at the hospital when Tae gets his cast removed and he kinda blackmails him to go with him to the night market where Tae finds his brother and gets kidnapped.
Then the last time they see each other, Xinlu and his men break Tae and his brother out of where they were being kept then just as Ilay is approaching, one of the men knocks Jae out forcing Tae to go with them and making it seem like he chose Xinlu over Ilay. When he comes to he’s in a hotel and Tae tells him that no matter what he’s going back to Ilay and leaves him there and that’s the end of their interactions.
There’s a mention of him receiving a letter from Xinlu in the sequel series, but doesn’t make another appearance.
Xinlu has his own side story about him and Gable.
