i think he has a brother complex and probs bonded with late bloomer lil bro as a kid :/ i deduced that when he wished that they were blood brothers, he just deathly wishes his lil bro will never leave him. which explains why hes so desperate to keep this whole thing a secret. lil bro manifested late probs cus of trauma orrrr spending so much time with his alpha hyung tweaked his hormones.
When hanbit said ‘would be better to be real brothers’ I think he means, like he didnt want it to Happen (i Think) bc now its complicated. They bounded as brothers and started young so it shouldn’t have been an issue with him being a beta and while growing up. Hanbit said it will ‘ruin’ the family.
