Maybe he doesn't have experience, i mean its not because he is older that it means he dated many peoples before,you can only learn this from dating someone and he i guess he never did ,maybe thats why he is acting like a teenage boy.
I agree, it seems like he's devoted his entire life to school and helping his friend with her relationship problems. I don't think he's ever had a real relationship involving more than sex
i think the problem is that it’s clear as day he has zero experience when it comes to relationships. yes, he is grown as fuck in his 30s but that don’t mean everyone at the age has experience when it comes to relationships. it seems he devoted majority of his youth focusing on school & whatever that’s going on with his friends & taking care of their daughter. i know how he’s acting is annoying but i honestly understand where he’s coming from because he feels as though he’s holding her back because she’s still young. he’s moving selfish as hell but they’ll eventually work it out. not every relationship is perfect they’ll work it out.

He may be in his 30’s but inexperienced in having a real meaningful relationship. They need to communicate better. I hope they have “the talk” to clarify their relationship. 43 chapters later no progress between them. She still thinks they are dating. It’s getting awkward outside of sex.
