Im sorry, but I dont remember that. I havent fully started with the 3rd life yet but I finished the 2nd and I dont remember anything about that. In fact, I remembered them having a happy ending with children. They even met Kloff's ex Rapiel who's happily married with children as well XD

I dont remember their age or if its even mentioned in the novel/manhua. But feel free to check this wiki about their age. It says here that Aeroc is a few years younger than Kloff and reach adulthood of 22. Maybe all the regressions was around that age as well
