I don't think this is a valid judgement. Because when you're reading a story you can get aroused, it's fine. But you've nomidea about what exactly is the part what made you aroused. So don't take it as a parameter in your real-life identity. It's just a story based on 2D characters. But if it's actual people then you can say so.
Straight people do not feel any attraction to any other gender, except for the opposite that's how they know , they are straight.
Wise a bi person may find attraction to both genders.
If u can't feel sexually attracted to that gender I don't think u can sleep with that person or gender.
I mean I'm asexual and I kind of feel 'something' when I read smut, not really arousal but idk, I like to imagine what the characters feel and I like reading it. However I NEVER had fantasies or dreams of that kind about any irl person, be it a celebrity or somebody I know, so I know for sure that me sometimes liking smut doesn't mean anything. I'm not saying you're also ace, but this might be the answer, whether you ever felt anything for an ACTUAL person of that gender or in general

in my opinion, smut doesnt necessarily show who youre attracted to cuz at the end of the day its porn and its normal to get aroused by it, ppl all the time talk about how theyve been turned on by crazy stuff even though it realistically is not sexy to them.
Me personally ive never been with anyone but ik i like girls bc of countless times ive been attracted or drawn to them in different ways, and straight girls have a different experience entirely from mine lol
Something that helped me personally ,is that we arent "taught" to be attracted to the same sex, so if you find yourself gravitating towards girls or thinking about them often (in ways tht arent purely platonic) u might be gay, its been like that since i was young so it clicked for me
