I finally read this manga after watching the anime. The anime left me with a lot of questions which are now answered.
From what I understand this manga is seinen. I wonder what is the age group of people reading it. I see a lot of people complaining about Kirishima's conduct. But I don't get the reason, especially since such characters are quite common in these types of manga (reminds me of Yashiro from Saezuru tori lol).
I've read a lot of shoujo mangas (from early 2000s) that had fukboi MLs. Kirishima is an angel compared to some of those ML. One of the shoujo mangas I had read had characters around the same age as Kirishima and Yoshino. The ML was a rich fukboi who relentlessly pursues the FL and towards the end when you think they got a happy ending the manga ends with insinuating the ML is back to his fukboi ways. Ngl that kinda scarred my young teenself lol
In Kirishima's case, I think on his way back to Tokyo he realizes what Renji meant when he said that he would want to die for Yoshino. So I guess he has just realized he's in love with her? I wouldn't be surprised if he still sleeps around if it's to protect Yoshino though.
On another note, when Tsubaki and Shouma meet for the first time in the bathroom, I think the translation for Tsubaki's line says something like "I just looked at him and he got hard"
But it should have been "If you have seen me, get hard" lol
