I looked up the symbolism behing Hepatica (or Liverleaf) and it was actually either confidence or bravery.
Though I guess it was sort of ironic considering the theme of this story which...goddamn...O__o
I somehow feel...sad for humanity. And the art set a real dissonance to the point of disturbing when MC finally snapped and took out those that tormented her one by one. And that is without no sense of planning at all. Just rage that is just as cold as winter itself...
And the ending...it was disheartening that no one, not even MC herself, live long enough to see the spring time of their youth.
